By downloading, installing, or using the Yumflick mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Yumflick is operated by the individual described in our Imprint.
Yumflick is a recipe discovery and meal planning app intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the App only in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
You have the right to delete your Yumflick account at any time. To delete your account:
What gets deleted: Email address, device ID, community posts, push notification token. Data stored locally on your device (favorites, diary, settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.
Active subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately via the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
Yumflick offers optional Pro subscriptions that unlock additional features.
ℹ️ Apple subscription notice: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

🤖 To cancel on Android: Open Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Yumflick → Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
All payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment details.
Yumflick may offer referral codes and promo codes that grant free trial periods of Pro features. These are subject to the following conditions:
The App allows you to share community posts (meal photos, cook results). By submitting content, you:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.
Calorie and nutritional values displayed in Yumflick are estimates only and may not be accurate. They are calculated automatically from ingredient data and should not be relied upon for medical, dietary, or health decisions.
Always consult a qualified nutritionist, dietitian, or healthcare provider for specific dietary needs, especially if you have any medical conditions.
Recipes displayed in Yumflick are sourced from third-party databases including TheMealDB (licensed under CC BY-SA) and Spoonacular. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any recipe or ingredient information.
Always exercise good judgment when preparing food, particularly regarding allergies, food safety, and cooking techniques. Yumflick is not responsible for any harm resulting from following a recipe displayed in the App.
The Yumflick app, its design, code, branding, and original content (excluding third-party recipe data) are owned by Yumflick and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yumflick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law in your country of residence.
